Include only useful fields
A name is required. Add the work phone, email, organization, and website people should actually use. Shorter payloads make less dense, more forgiving codes.
Prefer a durable destination
If you add a website, use a page you control and expect to keep. The contact details inside a static QR code cannot be edited after printing.
Test contact import
Scan the export on iOS and Android and confirm each field lands in the right place. Some camera and contact apps present vCard fields differently.
Useful rule of thumb
For a business card, keep the design simple, export SVG for print, and leave clear space around the code instead of crowding it with text.
