Acceptable use

Make useful codes, not harmful ones.

Do not use QR Domain to deceive people, compromise devices or accounts, violate rights, or facilitate illegal activity.

Do not create codes for

  • Phishing, credential theft, malware, or unauthorized access.
  • Fraud, impersonation, deceptive redirects, or misleading destinations.
  • Harassment, exploitation, illegal goods or services, or threats of harm.
  • Copyright, trademark, privacy, or other rights violations.
  • Attempts to disrupt QR Domain or bypass technical restrictions.

Your responsibility

A QR code can hide its destination from casual view. Clearly label what a scan will do, keep destinations secure, and remove printed codes that are no longer accurate.

Enforcement

The current generator runs locally and does not host generated content or redirect destinations. Future hosted features may be suspended or removed when they violate this policy.
